Flea Market Weekend

I had a successful weekend at the Flea Market. I didn't do bad on sales and I got lots of business cards out there. I had many wonderful comments on my booth also. That makes a person feel so good! I really love what I do! That makes all the difference in life. I use to work many different jobs that I didn't like...and I felt drudgery. I am so blessed and thankful that I can stay home with my kids and do this on the side!

White Wednesday~Around the house

Another White Wednesday is here...I am so behind today. I have been sorting through tax stuff today and helping with homework projects. My house is so neglected...not to mention the laundry. I have church in an hour and haven't made supper. You're on your own tonight guys! LOL

My pretty bedroom and $5 find!

I cleaned up my bedroom to take pictures today to show you how it looks. (The rest of the house is a disaster! No pictures there!) I found an awesome thing for $5 last Wednesday at Goodwill! It is the best $5 I ever spent! It is a 1928 vanity and mirror. It was already painted white. It had plain white wallpaper on the drawers. I ripped it off and then applied some vintage floral wallpaper I already had. It turned out so great! I was going to sell it, but I've always wanted one...so I am getting rid of other small pieces that were in my room.
The weather stinks here! Rain, then freezing, then snow and blowing on top of it. I am so ready for spring...will it ever get here? I'm begging!

Some fun projects

I've been passing the time with a few projects. I don't have alot of vintage Valentine stuff...so I've been making some burlap hearts. I've made some and put some in the shop at Cliff Ave. Flea Market and will most likely put some at Recycled Elements this coming Saturday when I work. I also made a burlap journal last night. I think it turned out really cute. I've listed these two things on my Etsy store (side bar). I also added a mom and baby kitty combo and some vintage goodies too.
