I sewed another apron

I got back on my new sewing machine today and tried making another apron. I made it out of an old pillowcase and some other odd and ends. I love the way it turned out. I am so excited to wear this one too! I am slowly learning to sew and my lines are a bit better on this one. Thank goodness for layering...so I can cover my mistakes. My house is a disaster...I should of been cleaning and doing laundry. I decided to make an apron instead. At least supper is in the oven. Now it's off to clean the table (sewing in the kitchen/dining area)...so we can eat in a little bit! I have no room for a sewing room so it's going to be frustrating. I'll get by...just glad I have a sewing machine!

  1. Your new apron is really pretty! Love how you use vintage fabrics! I can't wait to make some of my own. I will finally have an excuse for collecting all that vintage fabric!

  7. Funny how being creative is messy. Sewing is something you have to start and work through till the end. If you stop it is too easy to quit altogether.

  16. I love the idea of using the old pillowcase. I have been collecting them to try to make a quilt. I might give up on the quilt and make aprons instead. So cute!!
