White Wednesday

So, I'm having quite the day. Dealing with whiny children, children who don't listen and I haven't even showered today and it's 4:30 in the afternoon. Yep, this is how my day is. Messy house...tired...tired...did I mention tired? I had 2 kids in bed with me last night, so my back is super messed up today. I need to cook supper soon and have youth group to help out with tonight. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. McKale is screaming in his crib and Hayden is being mean to the cat and making monster noises...very loudly! Ok, so I put McKale in his swing for a nap. Now I can finally post White Wednesday. I really mean to post more often, but with 5 kids, 2 locations where I sell stuff and everyday life I just can't seem to get more posts done. Not to mention my house is usually a disaster. Today I feel like running away. I spent yesterday sweeping and mopping floors. What for...they are messy again right along with the house. Yikes! Ok...enough complaining. I am thankful to have a house, to have kids I love, food on my table and a husband who loves me. Things can always be worse. Sometimes you just need to rant and then be thankful afterwards. Life can be crazy, but I try to center it in Christ. I'm working hard to make devotions and prayer a priority...some days I fail...and thank God I can start anew each day!
Everyone have a good week...and be thankful!

  1. I'll commiserate with ya...oh, yuck! Your hubby better get home quick so you can shower. Sorry you're feeling 'whelmed. I love your pink hair in the below post. Ask Hayden how he'd like to be yelled at by something 10 times his size. That's what i ask my dog when he chases little birds or the neighbor cat when it sneaks into our yard. Well, ever the optomist, I hope tomorrow is better for you!

  2. Oh, your day sounds like my daughter Nicoles house and mine a couple of hours ago. She slept on the sofa with two of hers last night:) We were trying to photograph items for our boutique and ebay and do the write ups and the screaming and craziness in this house was incredible. The fabulous headache that I woke up with this morning got bigger and bigger that when I closed the door behind them I just went to bed:). But I love them and their craziness so much that I would do it again tomorrow so that must make me nuts too! I hope you have a great nights sleep and are refreshed to enjoy it all again tomorrow. You will always remember these days full of life:)

  3. Wish I could help you out with the kiddies....hang in there. I have had many, many a day like that and now that they are all teenagers I long for those times again (believe or not). Just take a deep breath...they are adorable.

  7. You're doing just fine Rach! One foot in front of the other. It helps to know you're not alone, doesn't it? Just keep focusing on the positive and do your best to make time for yourself to be creative. Let me know when you are coming for another "get away"... we'd love to have you!
