Easter Display and White Wednesday

Just trying to get over an ear infection...on meds...hoping by this weekend I can be back to 100%. I've been cleaning all day...I'm having a good hair day and put makeup on, so I decided on a sundress too. It's been so nice this week that you have to enjoy it when it's here. I've got most of my floors mopped and things picked up...the best you can when you have 5 boys and an overload of inventory.
I wanted to show a picture of the Easter display I have on my kitchen hutch. The next picture are altered art fairies that I have made for an upcoming charity event I have. I am tablescaping for Tableware for Children's Care. I also get to host the table. I am going to put these fairies on the plate and put them under a bell jar/cloche. I have pictured some candles that I will put on the table too. These are just non-smelling religious candles I picked up at Target for $1.59 each. The doilies I wrapped them in were literally pennies. I think these will be so charming in the display. My theme is "Magical Garden Party." It will be decorated with mix and match china picked up at thrift stores (my own personal collection), garden statue, flowers in a watering can, candles and my altered art fairies. Who knows what else I might throw in there. I can't wait to be able to do this event.
In case I get busy this weekend...have a very Happy Easter and please remember that it is about Jesus' sacrifice for us on the cross. What a wonderful life I have in him.

  3. All of your photos are so "warm". I love them all. Sorry you don't feel well. I have three kids, and although they are all grown right now, I DO remember the days when I was sick and had to take care of them. Hope you are feeling better soon.
    Take care, Sue
